Reading Lucy’s sections I began to feel almost like a long serving friend who’s been hearing this for months, but it still trying to force themselves to care. I think the story being told in this fashion gave it more depth than if eltin was told in the traditional third person. What Sam and Lucy are about to go through is absolutely inconceivable.
