Eva is used to being the victim of her father’s abuse and manipulations, but Daniel is angered by the scheme.
Thank you, Wendy, for the opportunity to read your work. Daniel grows to be very protective of Eva and he will do whatever he can to keep her out of harms way.
I found that our heroine was a bit too timid at first but I loved her in the end. I’m in general not really a fan of a guy who blames the woman even though she’s just as innocent as he is. Ho Traditional romance with damsel in distress and pat ending This is probably the first heterosexual romance I’ve read that had such a very traditional feel – a Regency damsel in distress with a secret rescued by a steady, noble lord.
Also there is a great cast of characters.
